About Us
Brown Catastrophe Management Group, LLC (BCMG) is a provider of catastrophe insurance claims adjusting and management resources currently serving the entirety of the continental United States…from the Gulf Coast, up the Atlantic seaboard, to the Great Lakes region…and all States in between. BCMG has its roots in a traditional daily property and casualty claims adjusting service, Pat S. Brown Claims Service, which was founded in 1967 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In developing our catastrophe claims division, we have applied those 40-plus years of service-oriented daily claims experience to our present CAT adjusting activities. This progressive corporate philosophy, combined with the utilization of the latest electronic claims estimating and reporting technology has allowed BCMG to grow steadily over the past few years. Our long-term corporate goal is to be an international leader in catastrophe claims response services.
Our CAT adjusting team survived the rough and tumble months following Hurricanes Katrina & Rita (2005) with its professional reputation intact. We earned our stripes again with Hurricanes Gustav and Ike (2008). In the interim, we have handled other multi-state weather events, including those involving damaging winds, hail, water, industrial incidents, and the like. BCMG , by virtue of its growing reputation in the insurance industry continues to expand, both in terms of the adjuster personnel resources that we can bring to bear and the geographic areas nationally that we are able to service.
